  Welcome to this special issue in Malaysian Construction Research Journal (MCRJ) for the 2nd International e-Conference on Green and Safe Cities (IeGRESAFE) 2024. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our contributing authors, reviewers, organisers, and readers.

This special issue in MCRJ for 2nd International e-Conference on Green and Safe Cities (IeGRESAFE) 2024 contains twenty (20) interesting papers covering the theme of “Resilient Urban Futures: Sustainable Solutions for Tomorrow”.
