This year, CIC 2025 is organised in collaboration with the 15th International Conference on Engineering, Project, and Production Management (EPPM 2025), and held in conjunction with CIDB’s International Construction Week (ICW) and the 2nd Digital Construction Summit (DCS 2025), offering a convergence of global ideas, innovations, and partnerships under one roof. The joint conference will take place from 28 to 30 October 2025 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur.
Jointly organised by Construction Research Institute of Malaysia (CREAM) and Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), CIC & EPPM Joint Conference 2025 continues its mission of fostering impactful dialogue and multidisciplinary collaboration. Through the theme “Building Tomorrow: Smart, Digital & Sustainable Construction,” the conference invites thought leaders, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to explore emerging challenges and transformative opportunities in today’s built environment.

The Construction Industry Conference (CIC 2025) marks the second edition of this dedicated platform focused on advancing the Malaysian construction sector. Building on the success of its inaugural event, CIC 2025 features peer-reviewed research paper presentations that address real-world challenges and innovations in the built environment. Conference topics include Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies, Digital Transformation, Sustainable and Green Practices, Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), and Data-Informed Decision Making. About EPPM 2025

The conference is interdisciplinary providing a forum for researchers, engineers, managers, students and practitioners to present and discuss current and emerging research issues, problems, questions, findings, and new developments in engineering management, project management and production management (EPPM) mainly in the construction, transportation, automobile and manufacturing sectors. It also hosts theoretical discussions, data analysis, case studies, and industrial practices. It is an excellent opportunity for interdisciplinary research and industrial networking at the local and international levels.
Previous EPPM conferences have been organized in New Zealand, Greece, Germany, South Africa, Jordan, Poland, Australia, Thailand, UK, Singapore and Taiwan since 2010. The EPPM conference has been indexed in SCOPUS since 2016. |

We are pleased to announce that abstract submissions for the CIC & EPPM Joint Conference 2025 are now open. Researchers, academics, industry practitioners, and students are invited to submit abstracts of up to 250 words aligned with the Conference Tracks by the designated submission deadline. All submissions must adhere to the abstract template provided in the online submission system and be submitted through the online submission system. We look forward to your contributions to this exciting joint conference.

All full papers must adhere strictly to the prescribed journal or conference proceeding templates and formatting guidelines. Authors are required to submit their full papers by the stated submission deadline. Detailed submission instructions, including access to the paper templates and the online submission system, will be provided upon acceptance of the abstract. Only papers that comply with the formatting and submission requirements will be considered for review and potential publication.

Review Process |
The CIC & EPPM Joint Conference 2025 implements a rigorous three-stage double-blind peer review process to uphold the highest standards of research quality and academic integrity.
Stage 1: All submitted abstracts will undergo initial screening by the Scientific Track Chairs to assess relevance, originality, and alignment with the conference themes.
Stage 2: Full research papers will be subjected to a double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts with recognized expertise in the respective field. This process ensures objective and constructive evaluations.
Stage 3: Only papers that are accepted, presented, and successfully defended during the conference will be eligible for inclusion in the conference proceedings or selected partner journals.
This multi-layered review process reflects the conference's commitment to scholarly excellence and its role in contributing meaningful knowledge to the global community.
